Ignius is a private company supported by qualified, experienced gemologists and a team prepared to deliver the best services, consultancy, courses, training and support to all our clients and partners.
Inside our laboratory
Our laboratory offers a pleasant environment, an extensive gemological library and modern instruments that allow every requested service to be carried out comfortably and in the best possible way for our clients.
We also offer exclusive on-site service through our portable laboratory, travelling to you for private appointments — at your jewelry store, on business trips, at banks or at mining sites.
In-house report software
We use an online system built by our own developers to convey reliability to clients and speed to our professionals while collecting data during the analytical process.
A system developed specifically for our laboratory, allowing reports to be issued with greater security and portability.
Our reports include a QR Code, a verification code and an identification card, letting clients learn more about their gem — analytical data, detailed photos and inclusion images — while providing the portability every gem material needs.
Events and associations
We take an active part in the main gemology events worldwide. Since 2018 we have been the official gemological laboratory of the leading gemstone fair in Latin America, FIPP (International Precious Stones Fair) in Teófilo Otoni. In São Paulo we have provided services at TecnoGold since 2021, and we are the partner laboratory of leading online trading platforms in Brazil and abroad.
In the state of Minas Gerais we are members of SINDIJOIAS and AJOMIG, providing services to all fellow members.
